Ben and his family
Ben has managed numerous construction projects in various roles including construction manager, consultant and owner. This experience gives Ben the unique perspective of all parties involved and allows for greater leadership in our collaborative construction process. Ben graduated from Iowa State University in 2010 and has been around the construction industry since he was a kid climbing on drill rigs at his father’s engineering firm. This deep-rooted love for construction has led to a desire to help shape the urban landscape of Central Iowa. Ben’s focus at Butzke Burch Construction is on client relations, new business development, project management and overall operations for the company.
Ben has become a leader across several industry and community organizations over the years to develop his professional network. Ben is the Past Board Chair of the Grimes Chamber & Economic Development, a Development Insights Group committee member through the Downtown Des Moines Chamber of Commerce, was the 2021 Chair for the Greater Des Moines Partnership Affiliate President’s Council, a board member for a non-profit called Can Play and is active in ICREA and TACE.
In Ben’s free time he enjoys spending time with his wife, Jacque, and their three children, rooting for the Cyclones, Lakers and Packers, playing golf and helping Jacque run her business, Inspiring Dance in Grimes.
